PIC Co-Chair Elections will be at this first PIC meeting, Thursday October 24, 2024. If you wish to apply, nominations must be submitted to Patty Gollogly, Associate Superintendent, and be accompanied with a short (maximum 250 words) biography. Alternatively, applications and biography can be mailed or dropped off at the LDSB Education Centre at 220 Portsmouth Avenue. If you have any questions, you can also call 613-544-6925, ext. 31319.
An ideal Co-Chair will be an active and engaged participant in the board’s PIC, as well as their school with the school and board-specific background necessary to effectively guide the various activities of the PIC. If a Co-Chair candidate does not meet these qualifications, the PIC membership may choose, via the normal voting process, to move forward with an election or to extend the advertisement for Co-Chair candidates by a period of two weeks, after which an election will be held.
Nominations are due to Patty Gollogly by Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.
All biographies will be sent to PIC Co-Chairs on Friday, October 11, 2024, then sent to all PIC members on Monday, October 14, 2024.
Voting will occur on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
