- Reading Challenges at KFPL: Read to unlock amazing prizes this summer! KFPL's Summer Reading Challenges are FREE and open to all ages and all languages.
- Stories in the Park Series: Several times per week throughout the summer at various points around the KFL&A area (e.g., Lake Ontario Park, Sydenham Point, Downtown Kingston, etc.). Check out the KFPL website for more information about times, places, and event descriptions.

- Canadian Parents for French Virtual French Programs: Led by certified instructors, these virtual programs offer a fun and interactive learning environment for FSL students from SK to Grade 12.
- Explore: Imagine learning or improving your French-speaking skills while making new friends and experiencing a different local culture and way of life in another part of Canada. That’s Explore.
Explore is an intensive, government-funded immersion program offered during the spring and summer in exciting locations across the country. The sessions are taught at accredited institutions, and students live on campus or with local host families. Students must be 13+ to apply. Applications are accepted from September-February, so start planning for next year!
