LDSB staff are invited to participate in our second See Yourself in Limestone Workforce Census and Belonging Survey (WCBS) in November 2024. This follow-up survey builds on our 2022 survey to assess how our efforts have progressed in the workplace, and what further work we need to either continue, or start. The results will provide us with comparable data to help us measure our progress, refine our goals, and address those gaps identified in the first WBCS. This information will help us further develop plans and strategies to increase employees’ sense of belonging and create a more inclusive workplace.
"Just as it is for students, we also know that having a positive sense of belonging in the workplace is important for staff and our workplaces. Staff voice is vital in shaping a workplace where everyone feels empowered, respected, supported and fully part of Limestone."
Krishna Burra, Director of Education
Additionally, the Ministry of Education requires all Boards of Education to engage in workforce census identity data collection, and a staff climate survey is required this year. Like the 2022 WCBS, we will combine these elements into one comprehensive survey.
The 2024 WCBS will be available to Limestone employees from November 4 to 22, 2024. Additional information about the survey is available for staff on myLDSB intranet site, including a copy of the survey questions, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), Glossary of Terms and a link to the survey when it goes live on November 4. Please be sure to review these materials before participating in the survey, as they contain important information. By participating, you contribute to fostering an inclusive environment that reflects the strength and diversity of our school communities. Your voice matters.
