Dear Families,
We are pleased to inform you that Tri-Board Transportation has been advised by Stock Transportation that an agreement has been reached with its drivers. Bus and van transportation will operate as normal, subject to any regular delays and cancellations.
However, Stock Transportation has not yet reached an agreement with its monitors. Students will continue to be supported by monitors this week. Tri-Board Transportation will communicate directly with families of students on Stock Transportation routes who require monitors as more information becomes available.
As neither Tri-Board nor the school boards are the employer, we are not at the negotiating table. We remain hopeful that negotiations will resume soon. We believe bus monitors do an excellent job transporting students safely to and from school, and we hope both parties can reach an agreement quickly.
