Limestone District School Board would like to recognize and honour George Beavis for his dedicated service as a Trustee from 2006 to 2014.
George brought a deep commitment to public education and community service, informed by his prior experience as a Kingston City Councillor. During his time on the Board, he was known for his thoughtful approach, collaborative spirit, focus on student well-being and success, and his sense of humour.
His contributions helped shape important decisions and initiatives that continue to benefit Limestone schools today. We are grateful for his years of service and the legacy he leaves behind.
George Beavis passed away on October 14, 2025. His impact on the broader community and Limestone schools will be remembered with gratitude and respect.
