Grandmother Laurel Claus-Johnson

With the permission of the family, the Limestone District School Board extends its condolences to the family of Grandmother Laurel Claus-Johnson and the community who loved her dearly. Grandmother Laurel was a valued and respected member of the LDSB who contributed over many decades to Indigenous initiatives and committees that advocate and care for all Indigenous students. We are grateful to have known and learned from her and to have been guided by her wisdom for so long. Her strong, trail blazing, and determined presence will be missed but her impact and legacy will continue to live on for generations in students and staff across LDSB.
