Dear Families,
We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to provide an update on the ongoing restoration of our digital services following the recent cyber incident.
We are pleased to inform you that we are making steady progress in restoring digital services and resources for our students and staff. Our dedicated team is working diligently alongside cybersecurity experts to ensure that all systems are fully operational as soon as possible. While we are moving through this gradual process, we appreciate your continued patience and understanding.
Status for Monday, April 28, 2025:
- Phone Systems: All Limestone District School Board phone systems will be operational. Please use the regular school phone numbers and main phone number at the LDSB Education Centre to get in touch with us.
- Student Password Reset: The process of resetting student passwords started on Friday and will continue this week. All students will be receiving a new password from their teacher or administrator and will test the new login to regain access to available online services.
- Internet Access: Students and staff continue to have access to the internet when they log in to LDSB devices.
- External E-mail: E-mails in/out of Limestone will begin to be functional again during the day on Monday, April 28.
Reporting Absences:
- Starting Monday morning, April 28, families can begin to report absences through our SafeArrival absence reporting management system.
Please be assured that we are taking all necessary measures to safeguard our systems and making sure they are being brought back online as quickly and safely as possible. We will continue to keep you informed as new information becomes available.
Thank you for your support and cooperation during this time,
Limestone District School Board
