Dear Limestone District School Board Families,
We are writing to inform you that we have now determined our network disruption is due to a cyber incident.
Police have been contacted, and we are actively working with trusted cybersecurity experts to assess the impact and to work toward the restoration of services.
Schools will remain open, and classes will continue as usual, however our schools will remain offline until we are able to safely restore network access.
If your student(s) is going to be absent from school, or you need to contact the school, please call the school directly to report the absence by phone. Please visit limestone.on.ca/network-disruption-update to access phone numbers for each school.
We will continue to share more information with families and staff as it becomes available, and we apologize for the inconveniences caused by this criminal activity.
