In consultation with KFL&A Public Health, and with information from Environment Canada that indicates air quality will improve across the district, LDSB will be reinstating all outdoor activities at its schools, effective Friday, June 9, 2023. Schools will continue to make every attempt to accommodate those who wish to stay inside or are experiencing symptoms such as coughing, or throat or eye irritation. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and make modifications as needed should the forecasted air quality change. Should changes be necessary, we will provide additional information to families.
