The Read-A-Lot Summer Literacy Program is a three-week intervention program for Limestone District School Board students finishing Grade 1 to Grade 4. The program focuses on developing fundamental skills in reading and writing, which will allow students to be more successful in the following school year.
For Summer 2025, the program will be delivered in-person and will run from July 7 to 25, 2025. Students must attend for the entire three weeks.
Registration
This is a referral program. Student Support Teachers (SSTs) will contact families directly.
Staffing
The program is taught by Instructors (qualified teachers), with a Tutor (university or college students) assigned to each class to assist.
Fees
The Summer 2025 program is fully funded and offered at no cost to parents.
