Manager receives 2018 Wm J. Wales Award

Wales Award for his outstanding contributions to the work of the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Committee of the Ontario Association of School Business Officials at its annual meeting in July.

The award is presented annually by the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Committee to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution in a plant function - school operations, maintenance and construction.

The award was established in 1985 and is named after W.J. (Bill) Wales, who served the committee with distinction and dedication for many years, was known for his unique blend of understanding, diligence and leadership that brought the committee to a position of prominence across the province.

The criteria includes a) individual must be an active or honorary member of OASBO b) individual is or has been a plant business official for a period exceeding three years and c) individual has contributed to and shared knowledge of plant facility operations and has been dedicated to the aims and objects of the committee.


The Limestone District School Board is situated on traditional territories of the Anishinaabe & Haudenosaunee.
