Grade 5 & 9 Activity Pass

Limestone Learning Foundation

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to Covid-19, the Grade 5 and 9 ActivPass has been postponed until further notice. Visit Kingston Gets Active to find alternate ideas and resources on getting active during this time, both at home and outdoors.

The Limestone District School Boards values this unique partnership with the municipality and other community partners to provide students with free access to indoor and outdoor facilities. We look forward to its reinstatement when it is safe to do so.

The Grade 5 and Grade 9 Physical Activity Passes are designed to promote an active lifestyle among students in the KFL&A area. The pass allows free access to community recreation centres and is organized by KFL&A Public Health, area school boards and Kingston Gets Active, a community-wide strategy continues to raise awareness of the benefits of physical activity and to help create and enhance opportunities that will enable people to be physically active on a regular basis.

From September 23 until August 31, all Grade 5 and 9 students in the greater Kingston area can use their ActivPass. To access facilities, Grade 5 students show their physical activity pass, which they receive at school, and Grade 9 students show their student identification card or an ActivPass, which can be picked up in your school office.
