Image a COVID-9 graphicIn-class learning for Limestone students will temporarily move to remote learning after the December break as part of the province-wide lockdown to limit the spread of COVID-19.

It should be noted that depending on community health circumstances, and direction from public health, related to  COVID-19, the dates outlined below may change.  We will keep families informed as new information is provided.

All students will move to remote learning the week of January 4 to 8, 2021.

Elementary students (Kindergarten to Grade 8) will move to remote learning for the first week of school (January 4 to 8, 2021) with face-to-face learning resuming on Monday, January 11, 2021.

All in-class learning for secondary students (Grade 9 to 12) will move to remote learning until January 22, 2021.  At this point, secondary students will return to face-to-face learning on January 25.

There is no change to learning for students enrolled in the  LDSB Virtual School.

Child-care centres in schools will remain open, however, before and after school programs will be closed from January 4 to 8, 2021 when elementary students move to remote learning.
