The Limestone District School Board continues to plan for the return of students to in-person learning for the 2021-2022 school year with various health and safety measures in place to help limit the spread of COVID-19.

The Ministry of Education recently released its COVID-19: Health, safety and operational guidance for schools (2021-2022) which outlines how school boards are to operate. The board continues to work with KFL&A Public Health and community partners to develop specific plans and procedures for Limestone. These plans will provide more information on our local context, and how our schools and sites will maximize health and safety for everyone participating in in-person learning and work.

Many of the precautions and adaptations put in place in 2020-2021 will continue into the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. It is important to note that protocols may change based on local experience and data or direction from the province.

The board will continue to keep families updated with direct communication from schools and the board. The most up-to-date information will be shared here on the Return to School webpages.

The Limestone District School Board is situated on traditional territories of the Anishinaabe & Haudenosaunee.
