Like everyone in our community, United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington has been monitoring the evolving global and local impact of COVID 19.

As we collectively and proactively look at the ever changing situation on the ground, United Way KFL&A continues to work with frontline agencies to ensure our community is able to serve all residents, especially those who are particularly vulnerable.

As the largest non-government funder of social services, United Way's agency partners are closest to the ground and are keenly aware of the needs and issues emerging in the communities they are serving. The United Way's partner agencies and many individuals in our community are facing challenges at this time. United Way is working with a number of funded agencies, local government and other partners on coordinated approaches to serving people who are in shelters or accessing meal programs, including, for example the Food Sharing Project school nutrition program in area schools.

As you protect your family and those closest to you to keep them healthy, we urge you to think of those who may need assistance in the community and consider supporting the United Way's COVID-19 Response Fund. To donate, visit the United Way website.
