COVID-19 School Protocols

Limestone Learning Foundation

KFL&A Public Health is the lead health agency in our district for managing COVID-19 cases, including providing guidance to schools on confirming and controlling outbreaks based on local circumstances and data, and provincial public health directives. The Limestone District School Board works closely with our partners at KFL&A Public Health to help communicate with the school community and assist with the investigation of cases, contacts, and outbreaks.

It is important to note that keeping schools open is contingent on limiting community spread of COVID-19. If circumstances change, and there is an increase in cases across the KFL&A region, or the province, public health may require the board to make adjustments.

We encourage everyone to follow public health guidelines and remain vigilant in helping to keep our communities safe by following these important school protocols related to COVID-19.

The Limestone District School Board is situated on traditional territories of the Anishinaabe & Haudenosaunee.
