Municipal and school board elections will take place on October 22, 2018.

School board trustees perform one of the most important roles in education. Trustees are a critical link between school boards and the communities they serve. These locally-elected representatives are the community’s advocate for public education. Learn more about the

Important Dates:

  • Start of Nominations/Campaign Begins: May 1, 2018 
  • Nomination Day/Close of Nominations: July 27, 2018 
  • Election Day: October 22, 2018.
  • Term Start Date: December 1, 2018.

School Board Trustees are elected every four years, like their municipal counterparts. The new term is December 1, 2018 to November 30, 2022.

The Limestone District School Board is situated on traditional territories of the Anishinaabe & Haudenosaunee.
