How can I make a Donation to the Limestone Learning Foundation?

Donating On-Line: You can make your donation right now on-line using a credit card by clicking on the "Donate Now" icon located at the Top Right corner of any of our web pages. This link will enable you to make your donation to the LLF in a convenient, secure environment. Your gift will be deposited into our local bank account and we will be advised of your donation. Your tax receipt and acknowledgement will be e-mailed to you immediately.

In Person: You can drop off your cheque, credit card, money order, or cash donation at the Limestone District School Board office at 220 Portsmouth Avenue in Kingston.

By Mail: Please print out and complete our Donation Form, and make your gift payable to the Limestone Learning Foundation. You can also pay by VISA or MasterCard using this form. Please mail the completed form to:

By Phone: Have your VISA or MasterCard ready and call us at (613) 544-6925 ext. 210. We will ask you for the information necessary to make your donation.

Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?

Yes! All donations are receipted in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines. Our charitable registration number is 88404 1922 RR0001. Depending on the amount of your gift, you could receive as much as 46% in tax savings.

Can I make a gift donation in memory or in honour of someone?

Yes! An increasing number of donors are memorializing or honouring friends and loved ones in this way. When your donation is received, the next-of-kin (in the case of memorial gifts) or the individual being honoured (in the case of tribute gifts) is notified of your gift. The amount of your gift is not disclosed. The tax receipt is sent to you. Donations in honour of a special teacher, in lieu of Christmas gifts, or as celebration on retirement or wedding anniversary are becoming increasingly popular.

Are there any special events that I can attend to support the Limestone Learning Foundation

Yes! We hold the "Sandra Davison LLF Golf Classic" at the beginning of June each year and a Black Tie Gala evening every other year, as well as other unique events. Please check the "News and Events" page for more information on upcoming events.

Can I or my organization conduct an event in support of the Foundation?

How do I know my gift is being well-used?

The LLF is governed by a 14-member volunteer Board of Directors which is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Foundation and ensuring that expenditures and disbursements are appropriate.
