Welcome!
The Limestone Learning Foundation, the charitable arm of the Limestone District School Board, was created in 1999 to enhance public education. The purpose of the Foundation is to ensure funding for unique and creative learning opportunities in the areas of Literacy & Numeracy, Science & Technology, the Arts, and Innovative Practices.
The Foundation supports the efforts of educators and enhances public education by raising charitable funds from individuals, businesses, community service organizations, and other friends. Donations cannot be used for regular school expenses like staffing, school renovation or maintenance, school supplies, or transportation - these remain the responsibility of the provincial government in its mandate to fund public education.

By providing this funding not available from any other source for these above average learning opportunities, the Limestone Learning Foundation is ensuring the ...

New Managing Director: Leslie Myles
The Limestone Learning Foundation Board of Directors is delighted to announce that Leslie Myles is the new Managing Director. Leslie, a local entrepreneur, parent, volunteer, and former owner of The Body Shop, joined the Limestone Learning Foundation in June, succeeding retired Managing Director Phil Perrin.
Leslie is very familiar with the Limestone Learning Foundation and its importance and impact on the public education system, having been a donor and dedicated volunteer since 2001. As a highly respected member of the Kingston business community for many years, Leslie has a proven track record in fundraising, community leadership, entrepreneurship, program development and implementation.
Says Myles, "I am honoured to take on this role with the Limestone Learning Foundation, contributing to the Foundation's objectives of enhancing educational opportunities for students of the Limestone District School Board.”
