All
coaches must register their athletes online by September 28.
Please

Register a runner
even if there is only a chance they
may run. It is easier to scratch them than
add them on the day of the meet.
Therefore
there will not be coaches packages mailed this year. Coaches are asked to
print the information from this website.
Remember
that cheques for Region 3 are to be made payable to: "Northern
Area Sports"
Looking

Coaches:
No walkers/ joggers to be entered in any race. If your athlete cannot run the distance continuously in
practice, DO NOT ENTER HIM/HER IN THE RACE.
Starting time:
First race (Atom Girls) - 10:30 am
Place:
Parham Fair Grounds - Next to Hinchinbrooke
School.
Enter off Wagarville Road or walk over from the school.

Each trail will be clearly marked, with marshals scattered throughout the
course.
Entry Fee:
$3.00 per participant. Fees to be collected by the coach
prior to race day. Please bring total amount for your team to the
official scorer's table immediately upon arrival. Unlimited entries!
 | each coach's package should
contain: course map, name tags, pins, team scoring sheets, and a
comment sheet |
| additional course maps will be
posted near the results table at the end of the finish chute

| each competitor must be wearing a
name tag with her/his name, school, and age grouping (i.e. atom
girls) pinned to her/his shirt. Please fill out all tags the
same way-DO NOT PEEL TAG AND STICK TO ATHLETE'S SHIRT!

| order of races - atom girls, atom
boys, bantam girls, bantam boys, midget girls, midget boys
|
| the coach is responsible for
collecting finishing place cards, completing the team scoring
sheet (top 4 count, with 4th runner's position to break ties),
and returning it to the scorer's table located at the end of the
finish chute immediately following each race |
| individual results will be posted
as soon as possible following each race and team results
announced at the end of the meet. Individual medals to the top
3, and ribbons to places 4 through 8 in each age category, will
be awarded immediately following each race as these competitors
exit the finish chute. Ribbons will be awarded to the top team
in each category after the meet |
| only ONE team from each school is
eligible for team awards. |
| please ensure that your athletes
remain in the fairgrounds area and stay clear of the track and
race course during each race |
| there is a canteen available
selling hot dogs, pop etc. at the fairgrounds -please ensure
that your athletes put litter in its place!! -please take time
to fill out the comment sheet and leave it at the scorer's table
or hand it to me personally |
