Business Services provides a broad range of financial and business functions to the system. The department is responsible to provide fiscal management and accountability for Board funds. Responsibilities include the effective management and administration of departments including Financial Services (Budget, Payroll and Benefits, Accounting and Purchasing), Facility Services (Operations, Maintenance and Construction), Student Transportation Services, Planning Services and International Education. In addition, the Superintendent of Business Services is responsible for performing the duties of Treasurer of the Board as required under the Education Act.
