DLC

The District Literacy Community (DLC) is a cross-panel book study that meets one Tuesday per month after school at the Education Centre.  At each session, participants share their responses to the information found in the selected literature.  This professional dialogue serves as a catalyst for teachers to implement strategies, test theories, and apply findings generated from current research into literacy instruction.  Participation is voluntary.  Any interested educator, at the elementary or secondary panel, is encouraged to attend.  For more information, contact Tyler Wilson, secondary program consultant for literacy at wilsont@limestone.on.ca or Charlene Homer, elementary program consultant for literacy, at homerc@limestone.on.ca.
