About the Program
The Limestone District School Board is offering a summer literacy program for students in grades 7-10 who require remedial assistance in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. The program is FREE, however, transportation is not provided, and students are expected to bring their own lunch and school supplies. The TWO week intensive program focuses on developing important literacy skills and strategies that will enable students to be more successful in school and on the grade 10 literacy test, a secondary school graduation requirement. Students will be taught in small groups by a qualified teacher with the assistance of a tutor. The program will run from 8:30 - 2:30 each day.
