English As A Second Language Programs
  • Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced level classes delivered from 9:30 am - 12:00
  • Specialized classes such as Pronunciation, writing skills delivered in afternoons
  • Evening classes for all levels on Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
  • Summer classes for Adults and Teens: mornings and afternoons
  • Curriculum based on Canadian Language Benchmarks, certified CLBA assessor
International Languages Program
  • International Language classes provide academic instruction in languages other than English and French.  Classes are available to elementary school-aged children.
  • Korean, Hebrew, Mandarin, Cantonese, Urdu, Filipino, Hindi, Greek, Arabic and Russian
  • Classes can be established in any language for which there are 25 participants or more, and an instructor is available
  • Saturday mornings, and some after school classes
IBT TOEFL Preparation Program
  • For high intermediate and advanced ESL students
  • Increase skill in reading & listening, practice writing expository essays, practice answering standardized tests, such as TOEFL
  • Evening courses
Specialized Health Care Training for Immigrants Program
  • Designed for advanced level adults interested in improving employment opportunities by participating in 200 hours of classroom instruction and 150 hours of a Workplace Internship placement
Community and Human Services Program
  • Adults who need to strengthen skills for employment working with children/youth, and for preparation for the Personal Support Worker Program
Literacy & Basic Skills Program (Bridging to Education and Employment)
  • Training in computer skills, communication and math skills, and helping adults enter the workforce.  Employment Ontario, funded by the Government of Ontario
Evening Interest Programs
  • Training in computers, languages (Spanish, French, Italian, Greek) and general interest courses
  • Napanee and Kingston
Third Party Purchase of Service Contracts
  • PCCC-MHS Westwood Program, Balsam Grove Program (specialized programs for adults with mental health and developmental challenges). Special projects delivered through fee for service contracts
  • Employment resource services, funded by the Government of Ontario - Employment Ontario
  • Free services for individuals and employers.  Virtual services at www.ferc.ca
