Pathways At the Limestone District School Board we value every pathway that students will follow to find meaningful careers and become valued members of our society. Our goal is to support students in high levels of achievement in programs that lead towards their life destinations. What is a Program Pathway? A Program Pathway is a selection of credits and experiences a student may choose in secondary school in collaboration with parents/guardians, teachers and guidance counsellors toward success in one of four possible post secondary destinations:   Direct Entry into the Workplace   University   College   Apprenticeship Choosing a Pathway All students will enter the workforce. Some of the many factors to consider before making a successful transition to a career are listed below:         preferred learning style         most recent level of achievement         interests and abilities         immediate educational needs This area of the website provides parents with information and links to resources in pathways.
