Educational Services / Special Education The Limestone District School Board’s philosophy of special education programs and services is derived from a mission statement developed concurrently by the Special Education Advisory Committee and the Educational Services Department. This philosophy is based upon the school being the centre of an inclusive community. Students are active participants who can and should be taught to advocate for their own needs so that they have the opportunity to achieve their maximum potential.
