Post Secondary Options

The Limestone District School Board values all post-secondary pathways for our students. Students and parents can make an appointment with their school guidance counsellor to discuss a range of post-secondary opportunities that are available to them. There are a number of online resources that are also available to students for researching post-secondary and career opportunities.

Post-Secondary Resources
This site allows you to explore the possibility of a Dual Credit Course. Find interesting Dual Credit Courses, view videos with students and more. Download a Ministry Fact Sheet in PDF format.
An online education and career planning tool. Students in Grades 7-12 will use this tool to discover their strengths and interests, set goals, choose courses, investigate post-secondary opportunities and more.
Students are able to access clear descriptions of essential skills and work habits. Using the many tools available in the Passport, student are able to assess, build, document and track their skills and transfer them to further education, training, the workplace and everyday life.

This site will link you to the three colleges in our region offering various dual credit options. Explore Dual Credit possibilities with Algonquin College, St. Lawrence College and Loyalist College.
Starting point for researching Ontario university options. This guide provides secondary school students and counsellors with information about various university programs, admission requirements and other resources.
