Parenting and Family Literacy Centre: The Limestone District School Board operates Parenting and Family Literacy Centres in three elementary schools with the support of the Ministry of Education.

Tri-Board Transportation: Services provides a variety of transportation services for the following Boards in our consortium (Limestone D.S.B., Algonquin Lakeshore C.D.S.B., Hastings Prince Edward D.S.B.).
School Councils: play an integral role at the Limestone District School Board. School Councils are given the opportunity to provide feedback on Programs, Policies, Principal Profiles, Profile for the Director of Education, to name a few.

Elementary and Secondary Programs: The Elementary Program Team and Secondary Program Team works to provide opportunities for staff to learn, grow and continue to
provide quality education to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 within the Limestone District School Board. The Department provides professional services for academic staff. Personnel also respond to questions from parents and community members about information related to Board and Ministry programs, policies and directions.
Special Education: Philosophy of Programs and Services: The Limestone District School Board’s philosophy of special education programs and services is derived from a mission statement developed concurrently by Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) and Educational Services. This philosophy is based upon the school being the center of an inclusive community. Students are active participants who can and should be taught to advocate
for their own needs so that they have the opportunity to achieve their maximum potential. Our mission is to provide a positive, caring learning environment, which enables all students to acquire useful knowledge and skills, a positive attitude, and a well founded self-confidence. Our purpose is to build a foundation for all students to develop to their full potential and have fulfilling and meaningful lives as well-balanced, productive citizens.
MISA: Managing Information for Student Achievement is an initiative of the Ontario Ministry of Education that promotes evidence-based decision-making at the classroom, school and system levels.
Ministry Curriculum Documents: Curriculum documents define what children are taught in Ontario public schools. They detail the knowledge and skills that students are expected to develop in each subject at each grade level. By developing and publishing curriculum documents for use by all Ontario teachers, the Ministry of Education sets standards for the entire province.

Families Assisting Students Achieving (FASA): The Family Literacy Program has been developed to further support Limestone District School Board's Early Literacy initiative and to continue to build a partnership with parents.

Student Accident Insurance: The Board Approved a motion on May 25, 2005, requiring that students have student accident insurance IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES.
