Registration is now open for its 2017 Summer Session at Bayridge Secondary School from July 4-28. Summer Session is intended for students who wish to upgrade their marks, or for students who wish to “reach ahead” to earn credits for courses they have not previously taken.
On-site, hybrid, and e-learning courses will be available for students who wish to improve their marks, or for students who wish to "reach ahead" to earn credits for courses they have not previously taken. In addition, co-operative education opportunities will also be available to students. Hybrid learning opportunities feature blended learning with on-site face-to-face instruction and on or off-site e-learning components.
Students may only enrol in one course in Summer Session whether it is an improvement or new credit. All courses are full days.
Classes will not run on Monday, July 17 (mid-term break).
Information about course offerings and registration materials is now available in Student Services departments at our local secondary schools. Students can submit a registration form at any secondary school until June 26. The Summer Session Office will accept walk-in registrations Monday, July 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bayridge Secondary School.
Please note that all Summer Session programs will only run if there is sufficient enrolment.
NEW: Students who live in an area where they can take Kingston Transit to Bayridge Secondary School will be required to do so using your free bus pass, or make alternate travel arrangements. There will be no school bus overlap.
Information about course offerings, registration materials and frequently asked questions are now available in secondary schools and on our Summer Session webpage.
