Fundraising Dollars = FUN!
Sand toys, hula hoops, balls of all shapes and sizes,
skipping ropes and more were recently bought to be
enjoyed by students during recesses. This new
playground equipment is carefully distributed and
retrieved by diligent yard duty supervisors on a daily
basis. When not in use, the equipment is stored in large
bins. Students are delighted!

of Council’s fundraising efforts! Thank you, it is much appreciated!
Here are some of the School Council fundraising activities for this school year:
- QSP Annual Magazine Drive will kick off mid-September. Please hold on to your renewal slips and remind your family and friends.
- Norcard Campaign will be introduced mid-October. Calendars, holiday greeting cards, gift wrap, jewellery, candles and other gift items will be available to buy and delivered in time for the holidays.
- Yum! Yum! The Little Caesar’s Pizza Kits will be offered again in January and spring 2012. Their Break and Bake Cookie Dough will also be for sale.
- Start saving those pennies! We will be holding a Penny Drive throughout the school year with many exciting incentives and friendly competition between divisions and classrooms.
- Our Electronics Recycling Program will continue. So, please drop off your unwanted items such as digital cameras, empty ink and toner cartridges and unwanted cell phones. The collection box is in the school’s front entrance. Please stay tuned for details on these and more in the upcoming weeks and months.
